Jason Xia
Founder and CEO, MIT EECS PhD, 2012
Dr. Jason Xia completed his undergraduate and master's studies in microelectronics at Peking University before earning his PhD in Electrical Engineering from MIT, with a specialization in third-generation semiconductors.
As a distinguished IEEE member, Dr. Xia has published nearly 40 papers and patents, presented at top-tier international conferences, and served as a reviewer for leading scientific journals. His career includes extensive experience with companies like IBM and MACOM.
Since 2006, Dr. Xia has been actively involved in GaN semiconductor research, including contributing to the world's first measurement of InGaAs and InGaSb 2D hole gas piezoelectric coefficients. His expertise spans from fundamental research to product design and mass production.
